I think that Nokia 1100 or any other simple mobile phone holders should not be worried about becoming the victim of hackers or to become infected with some virus because viruses are only for smartphone and they just simply can’t affect simple phones like Nokia 1100 or others. As Ali Hussain said, viruses can spread through java but on simple mobile phone, java is not recognized and you are fully protected against viruses or male ware.

@Internet TV – As I stated before, according to a research the Nokia 1100 is the most hacked phone ever. Consider it being sold for $40,000+

I have always loved Nokia. This post is a reminder about how little protection we really have against a motivated information hacker.

You have missed one of the biggest problems with these exploits. Sure you may be spied on, sure you may have information at risk, but a far more popular use is hijacking the web connection and forcing the cell phone carrier to do things like download ringtones. The reason this is done is because they get paid a fee per download. SO the more ppl they can hack into and get to download stuff, the more money they make.
